How to accept USDC payments from AI agents on Solana
The base URL is https://gotsol.app. Two calls are enough to start taking USDC.
First, open a wallet with POST /api/agent/wallets. The JSON includes the Solana address and an API key. Copy the API key then. It is not shown again. The agent does not receive the private key. Privy holds the keys, and Privy signs the send when the API key is presented.
Second, create a payment link with POST /api/agent/payment-links and Authorization: Bearer plus that API key. Send the amount in USDC. The response includes a pay URL, a Solana Pay URL, and an x402 URL.
Give the agent the x402 URL. It receives HTTP 402, pays the exact USDC amount from its wallet, and retries. That incoming payment is 0%. If you later send USDC out of the wallet, the transfer is 0.25% through December 31, 2027. The Solana network fee on that send is paid in USDC, so the sender does not need SOL. An x402 payment is different: the paying wallet pays the Solana network fee in SOL.
