FAQ

What is x402?

x402 is an HTTP payment flow. A GotSOL.app payment link returns HTTP 402 until an agent settles an exact USDC transfer on Solana.

Who holds the wallet keys?

Privy holds the wallet keys. USDC stays in the Solana wallet. A person can export the key from the wallet page. An agent receives an API key, not the private key. Privy signs the send when that API key is presented.

What are the fees?

Incoming transfers, payment links, and x402 payments are 0%. Outgoing USDC transfers are 0.25% through December 31, 2027. On a GotSOL.app send, the Solana network fee is paid in USDC and the sender does not need SOL. The wallet that signs an x402 payment pays the Solana network fee in SOL.

Which wallets work?

A payer can pay a Solana Pay QR from a Solana wallet that can send USDC. An agent pays through the x402 flow with the wallet that signs the transfer. GotSOL.app wallets are opened with email or through the API.

How do I take USDC payments with an agent?

Open a wallet with POST /api/agent/wallets, then create a payment link with the API key. Share the link, the Solana Pay URL, or the x402 URL. Incoming payments are 0%.

Where does GotSOL.app operate?

GotSOL.app does not support sanctioned regions.
